In the extensive lands of the province of Cordoba, with its fertile soil and ideal for the cultivation of olives, Cayetano Del R\u00edo started an oil company in 1896: Aceites El Godo. Thanks to the reputation of its product and the Del R\u00edo family, it has lasted over time and has reached our days.<\/span><\/p>\n Aceites El Godo has the three most valued types of olive: Arbequi- na, Picual and Hojiblanca. The whole process is carefully monitored: the fruit of the trees is checked daily and, once the harvesting period has arrived, strictly manual methods are used to damage the fruit as little as possible and to be respectful of the environment. Old traditions and innovative techniques are combined: the olives are pressed using the latest refrigeration techniques, allowing an optimum temperature to preserve the properties and taste of the oil, and the packaging process is subject to strict quality controls to ensure a product that is always fresh for the customer.<\/span><\/p>\n Unlike other manufacturers, the Del R\u00edo family does not bottle its oils in large volumes, but only to order and always in dark glass bottles with the best sun protection.<\/p>\n This is how we obtain a product that is resistant to the most exquisite palates. You should try our AOVE on toast, on a good cheese or as a salad dressing.
